Blog Tour Review: Let Me Go BY L.L Akers

Let Me Go by L.L Akers Genre: New Adult, Coming-of-age, Written by: L.L Akers Available as: Paperback, Kindle version Buy it here Published by:  SmArt Group Consulting, LLC         Meet Twin Sisters Gabriella and Olivia and step into their world of crushing heartbreak, constant fear and anguish. 'Let Me Go' was almost like an out-of-world experience for me, like I was watching myself, read the book, but I was right within those pages, looking out at the person holding the book. It is a story about a trio of sisters struggling to cope with abuse, while trying to fight for their families survival. Prior to starting the book, I asked around a little, (as always) to get a feel of other peoples views on the matter and I was shocked to see just how many people either didn't realize or didn't want to realize just how much truth there was to the story. I couldn't believe how often I heard the words '' GROSS EXAGGERATION '...

Touch (A Denazen Novel) Genre: YA, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Dystopia, Written by: Jus Accardo (check out her website here .) Most of all, I did not expect it to be so full of action and plot twists. I could hardly catch my breath. What a nice surprise. The story:  Meet Deznee Cross, cocky seventeen year old self proclaimed adrenaline junkie. She lives her life seizing every opportunity she can find to piss off her dad, wether it's by staying out until the early hours of the morning, getting bad grades in school or hanging out wi...

The secret of Ella & Micha BY J. Sorensen

The Secret of Ella & Micha (The Secret #1) Genre: YA, Contemporary romance, coming of age,  Written by: Jessica Sorensen Available as Paperback and Kindle edition  Published: October 2nd '12  Buy it here :  ''Just because it's broken doesn't mean it loses its importance and I figured i'd give it to you one day when you realized it was okay to make mistakes.”  Just after a couple of pages in, I had a feeling I'd enjoy the book, Jessica's writing style is so sweet, it's hard not to fall in love with her characters.   It didn't feel like she was trying too hard to appeal to certain audiences, her words just flowed naturally and nothing felt forced or too much. And isn't it always a little frustrating  when you come across an author who tries too hard to sound 'young and hip' and  all want to do is give 'em a stern glare, pat their back and tell them that no-one talks like that.  Seriou...

Back to you BY Priscilla Glenn

Back to you        Genre: NA, contemporary romance, child abuse/neglect, YA     Written by: Priscilla Glenn    Available as Paperback and Kindle edition   Published October 20th '12 by Creative Space   Get it here :       "I always knew I would fall in love with you," he said softly, "but you were never supposed to love me back." Now as you see by the rating alone, this one's quite high up there, especially because I hardly tend to rate anything higher than 3, even if I really enjoyed it. Usually my motto is, '3's plenty, no need to get rating happy! I've just seen a lot of people rating all of their previously read books above 4 and 5, completely throwing all caution to th...

While I was unfamiliar with the name of the Author, Sophie Jordan,  I clicked on it and browsed through her profile. When I went back to check out the book the review was for I  instantly ...
Dr. Susana Case, Professor of behavioural Sciences at NYIT  This was probably one of the most charming review requests I've received to date. I'm pretty keen to get started on this because I've not yet had the chance to review Poetry books, so this'll be an interesting 'change o' scenery.' Susana offered to send me a hardcover copy of ' Elvis Presley's Lips & Mick Jagger's Hips', but as tempting as the offer was, I had to decline out of fear for the well being of my book shelf! I'm not sure it could handle anymore books right now... So a PDF will have to do. (insert sad face here.) Shame though, would have made a nice little keepsake to add to the collection! If you'd like to find out more about the book, or any of her previous books, please check out the links below! That's it for now. Until next time! Happy reading.
